WHAT WE DID – NEW CONSTRUCTION

  • Consulted on kitchen layout
  • Designed the media/fireplace/storage wall; supply and install cabinetry
  • Added crown moulding throughout main floor to further detail the unit; supply and install
  • Developed a furniture layout for both floors, including new pieces and re-used some of their existing furniture pieces
  • Sourced, selected and coordinated new furniture, fabrics and finishes throughout: upholstery, caseloads, countertops, flooring, tile, wallpaper, lighting, window treatments, paint colour palette
  • Developed designs and layouts for organizing storage in mechanical room and master closet

This client was downsizing from a beautiful 1850’s vernacular brick country home, and moving to a condo in the city.  The condo is in the refurbished and re-purposed Cotton Mill Lofts in Cornwall.  While the majority of the condo units feature loft-style accents, the ‘loft’ style didn’t meet the clients’ needs or speak to their personal style.  They also needed lots more storage than what the builder was offering, and with 10′ ceilings I used every inch of wall space in the living room.
